Is The Crash Like Every Other Frieda McFadden Book?

Introduction

The Crash by Frieda McFadden is a book that I believe finally doesn’t follow Frieda’s usual plan. This book kept me guessing all the way until the end. The end was interesting to say the least and not what I expected. That’s not to say I did not like the ending, but I would not have gone there on my own terms.

About the Book

The Crash is about a girl who gets pregnant on a one night stand and is working on a contract with the baby’s father who is married to keep her silent about the paternity of the baby. There are some trigger warnings in this book, so please look them up on Frieda’s website. She heads to her brother’s place to finish her pregnancy and on the way there, she ends up in a crash at eight month’s pregnant. Nothing else can get worse, right?

What I Loved?

Frieda McFadden writes what I will call the perfect quick thriller palette cleansers between longer books. This book was no exception. I finished the entire thing in one day. The book deals with many different tropes but I did see this one was different than her other books. The ending will get you every time.
