Vines and Daggers: Book One of the Powerful Pawns Series

Introduction

In Vines and Daggers, escaping castle arrest and stumbling through the forest in nothing but a nightdress isn’t the most discreet way to challenge King Nikoli’s rule—especially when the man responsible for aiding the escape is the same one who landed Alaceandra there in the first place.

About the Book

All Lace wants to do is continue her two best friends Sam and Sorin but her father has other plans for her. He has set her up for marriage to a Prince and due to behavior he does not approve of, he sends her off to the Prince’s Kingdom with two of his loyal guards accompanying her. Can she trust them and can she trust herself as her future becomes more clear?

What I Loved

Reading this book is an experience that will pull you in and keep you hooked to every page. I love that the ending of this book pulls you immediately in to letting you read the second book. The characters are ones that you connect to and the pacing is perfect. Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantasy but wants something that is not the same pattern of every other romantasy novel that we have seen.
